Blondie made Lily Allen’s dreams come true this morning when they invited the singer to join them on-stage for a free show in New York. After hearing the Smile singer was in the Big Apple for their performance on breakfast TV show Today, Blondie singer Debbie Harry asked her if she’d like to join the group she has always listed among her leading influences.

Allen rehearsed Heart of Glass with Harry and the group last night and the Atomic singer admits it was a pleasure to finally meet her British fan.

She says, “She has such an unusual and unique voice, it was a real treat to hear her close up.”

Chef Gordon Ramsey has waded into the Cheryl Cole vs Lily Allen catfight – and stayed on the side of Ms Allen.

Cole made comments on Gordon Ramsey’s F Word TV show the other week calling Allen “a chick with a dick”, causing a bitter reaction from the ‘Smile’ singer.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ramsey commented: “Lily’s beautiful isn’t she? She has a great figure and obviously eats properly. There’s none of that vegetarian shit with her.

“Girls Aloud really need to eat; Cheryl came onto the show and she is so skinny, it’s a fucking disgrace.

“They need to stop worrying about having to be disgustingly skinny and start looking like real women, like Lily Allen.”

Kaiser Chiefs front man Ricky Wilson is baffled by English pop star Cheryl Cole’s criticism of Lily Allen’s weight, declaring the singer “perfect as she is.” The British rocker slammed Girls Aloud star Cole after she branded rival singer Allen “fat and ugly.”

He says, “Lily doesn’t need surgery and she knows that, really. She is perfect as she is. The thing is, when you start seeing yourself on TV and in the papers and you get snide comments like those from knobheads, you start doubting yourself.

“It’s really hard not to give a damn. I’ve done it myself when I’ve seen pictures of me.”

Lily Allen has spoken out about Hollywood trouble maker Lindsay Lohan, after she was “thrown off” a table at trendy Los Angeles club Les Deux, back in May, to make way for the actress and her entourage.

Lily posted the message on her MySpace page, and also took the opportunity to mock Lohan over her arrest for driving under the influence on Saturday night (26May07).
Lily writes, “We went to this club called Les Deux and that was really fun until Lindsay Lohan turned up and had us thrown off our table. I know she’s a huge star and all and famous people deserve to sit down especially when they’ve been working hard, but whatever.
“Lindsay, our thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time in your life (she got arrested this weekend). In the words of Timbaland and Timberlake, ‘What goes around…’”

Loud mouthed Lily Allen has slammed Victoria Beckham and the Pussycat Dolls for being terrible role models for young girls.

According to the (always so reliable) Sun, Allen said of Victoria Beckham: “She gives a bad image to children. I don’t care how much she says that’s her natural weight, its bull. She gets photographed every day and doesn’t eat a thing.”

Allen added that The Pussycat Dolls were not much better: “My video was banned by MTV because there’s a mugging in it. Yet the Pussycat Dolls can get away with gyrating with no clothes on and promoting prostitution.”

Allen does seem to have a big problem with the Pussycat Dolls, she has said of them I the past: “I’ve got a really big problem with the Pussycat Dolls, because I think they’re a really bad role model for little girls. They’re too skinny, take all their clothes off, don’t say anything, promote womanizing and look like lap dancers as far as I’m concerned.

“It’s a really bad message to be sending young women. And not just for young women - but for young men. For them to believe that that’s what women are like in real life is such a hideous concept to sell to people. It’s just terrible.”

Lily Allen is claiming she was interrogated on her arrival in the United States about newspaper allegations made against her.

After a similar incident occurred during her last trip to America, the Allen is convinced authorities are following all her tabloid gossip.

Allen - who arrived in Seattle at the weekend to promote her album Alright, Still - writes on her website blog, “It seems that the American Immigration peoples know things about me that I don’t. Twice now I have been questioned over things that are a little dubious.

“I haven’t even been arrested, not even questioned. I have never even spoken to a policeman in regards to this incident.

“I doubt that a United States Government agency would use unreliable sources, quoting tabloid gossip and lies as factual evidence, would they?”

Lily has apparently landed a huge deal to write a book. Reports say that she could get £250,000 ($500,000) from the publishers to write the book. All this at such a young age, does she have that much to write already?, I guess someone things so. Apparently the book is going to be called “The World According To Lily Allen”As im sure you know, Lily also has a new clothing line with “New Look” called “Lily Loves“.

Lily Allen looks like she could be in quiet some trouble after an alleged violent assault on a photographer.

It is claimed the incident left Kevin Rush with a bleeding and bruised nose after Allen’s gold sovereign ring cut into his face, leaving an imprint.

The incident took place in March after Allen left a party she was hosting at The Wardour club in London.

As she walked to the nearby Groucho club - a favorite haunt of her father’s - she suddenly turned on Mr Rush, who was standing among a group of photographers.
